Sources told PEOPLE that Harry Styles “has been spending long stretches of time in Rome this year,” and that “Zoë has joined him several times since late summer.” According to the insider, the city gives them a rare sense of normalcy, where they can enjoy time together without constant attention.
“When they’re in Rome, they’re pretty much left alone,” the source shared, explaining that the pair tends to keep things simple: strolling through the streets, seeing friends, and embracing a slower lifestyle. Their chemistry, the insider added, is undeniable: “They just stroll around, meet up with friends and live a very relaxed life,” noting, “They have great chemistry.”
Rumors first began circulating in August after the two were reportedly seen kissing at a London restaurant. Not long after, they were spotted walking through Rome with their arms linked. As one source told The Sun: “Zoe flew to Italy to join Harry after she’d finished working. He spends a lot of time in Rome so they decided to meet up there.” However, the insider also stressed that, “This is very early days, there are no labels. They’re having a lot of fun together.”
Their visits to Rome continued in September, and another sighting on November 27 further fueled speculation that their connection may be more than a casual fling.
