The Queen of Pop is back in the spotlight, embracing her Italian roots for a provocative new collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana. Madonna stars in the cinematic campaign for the brand’s latest additions to "The One" fragrance line, providing an exclusive soundtrack: a cover of the 1968 Italian classic “La Bambola” by Patty Pravo. This marks the first time in her legendary career that Madonna has recorded a song entirely in Italian.
Directed by Mert Alas, the ad features Madonna alongside actor Alberto Guerra in a narrative filled with desire and jealousy. The steamy visuals include lingerie, blindfolds, and a bold scene involving a younger man watching the icon with envy. According to the fashion house, the campaign shows Madonna as she "rewrites the rules of love and seduction to the sound of her exclusive rendition of ‘La Bambola’."

Gianluca Toniolo, COO of Dolce & Gabbana Beauty, explained that choosing Madonna was a natural decision given her long history with the designers. “We picked a celebrity that has always been very close to Dolce & Gabbana and its history; she’s been part of this brand’s legacy,” Toniolo told WWD. “When you look for a talent to embody the concept of being ‘The One,’ well, that’s what she’s been doing for 30 years.”
