Damiano shared the same set of photos on his own profile, adding to the excitement with the caption: "It’s gonna be a beautiful year💍♥️". The images captured the pair in a blissful embrace, with close-up shots focusing on the sparkling jewelry on Dove's finger. The comments section was immediately flooded with congratulations from fellow stars, including singers Perrie, Belinda, and Julia Michaels.

The couple’s journey began at the 2022 MTV VMAs, but their romance truly took flight after they reconnected at the same awards show a year later. Since then, they have become inseparable, with Dove crediting the relationship for her latest wave of creativity. “The thing about love is it’s just, like, f*g inspiring,” she told Nylon in June 2025. “I was enjoying this campy feminine moment that I was in, where I was suddenly someone’s girlfriend. I was very healed, very in love, feeling very safe.”
Damiano David has been equally vocal about his feelings, often referring to Dove as his "angel."
