Just two days before his passing, Ozzy Osbourne was captured in a touching family moment shared by daughter Kelly Osbourne on her Instagram Stories, dated Sunday, July 20.
In the short clip, the rock legend is seen relaxing with his grandson Sidney and daughter Kelly. The video starts with Sidney playing on a tablet, before Kelly pans to her father, who’s wearing black Apple AirPods Max and tapping on his own device. Looking up, Ozzy asks with a smile, “Is that me?”
Kelly then prompts him to greet her followers with a cheerful “good morning,” which he does, adding a heartwarming touch to what would become one of his final public moments.
On Tuesday, July 22, the world learned of the heartbreaking passing of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne at the age of 76.
Back in January 2020, Ozzy Osbourne publicly shared that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease — a progressive neurological disorder that affects movement. Despite the difficult news, the rock legend remained resilient, saying at the time: “It’s not a death sentence.”
Over the years, Osbourne faced a number of health struggles, but his passion for music never faded. In February 2025, he announced one last farewell concert with Black Sabbath in his hometown of Birmingham, England. Held on July 5, the emotional performance marked his first with the iconic band in 20 years — and would ultimately become his final time on stage.
